This post was updated on January 23, 2021…

1. Intro (Mp3 / Ogg) was recorded in 2009 for ‘Carbon Monoxide’ and was later used as an intro to Marlon’s Anthology album.

2. Old Tunes (Mp3 / Ogg) is a 2014 M-Castles release with an old industrial dance sound.

3. Hooked on Sonics (Mp3 / Ogg) is a strange trip into sound. This recording is track 117 from the spunjet baby release ‘Now For Some Marlon’.

4. Jib chant (Mp3 / Ogg) is such a fun Rocking track.

5. Something oR other (Mp3 / Ogg) was recorded and released online in 2009 and was originally titled ‘Something or rother’.

6. Boyo The Elf (Mp3 / Ogg) came from the ‘Now For Some Marlon’ release and for some reason it sounds like a source stem that went astray.

7. What is this (Mp3 / Ogg) was released in 2013 as part of Spunjet Baby’s ‘The collective Source’ and was also included in the ‘Now For Some Marlon’ release in 2014.

8. Weird Music (Mp3 / Ogg) was released in 2013 as part of Spunjet Baby’s ‘The collective Source’ and was also included in the ‘Now For Some Marlon’ release in 2014.

9. Dead Air (Mp3 / Ogg) is an R.h.oZ and Marlon collab of ‘Life Goes On Like The Moser Sometimes’ by Marlon. This short demo was recorded a while back in the key of G minor at a tempo of 77 beats per minute.

10. Here I Am Scum (Mp3 / Ogg) was taken from a 1994 demo tape Marlon made using a few toy keyboards and a Boombox. The music here makes me feel like I’m playing a classic video game and I’m getting ready to take out some baddies. This piece was extracted from the original cassette tape back in 2009. Fun fact, Here I Am Scum was written in the key of G minor at a tempo of 120 beats per minute.

11. I Just Found My Way (Mp3 / Ogg) was taken from a 1995 demo tape Marlon made using an Amiga computer with a few toy keyboards, a Boombox and a microphone that was made from an old pair of Headphones. This piece was rescued from the original cassette tape back in 2009. The sound quality is rather poor but I’m happy it still exists today.

12. Bass-Fu (Mp3 / Ogg) was written and recorded back in 1997 and was taken from a 1998 CD-rom R.h.oZ made of Marlon’s music. Bass-fu was made on a computer with an Awe32 sound blaster that had Two megabytes of Ram on it for soundfonts, a VCR, a Midi Keyboard controller and some audio software. The following software used include ‘Goldwave’ from GoldWave Inc, ‘Session’ from midisoft and ‘Vienna’ from Creative Labs.

13. Public Property (Mp3 / Ogg) is a strange trip in the mind. This recording was made around 2009 with the spunjet crew.

14. What You Think (Mp3 / Ogg) was one of many recordings from Marlon I found in my Inbox over the years. I received this one back in 2014.

15. Table Light (Mp3 / Ogg) was recorded back in 2009 with a little inspiration from some old source files.

16. It’s Grumbling (Mp3 / Ogg) is a short soundscape that was made using Marlon’s sample packs, this recording was taken from the ‘Now For Some Marlon’ release and was made in May 2016 with R.h.oZ and the Spunjet Crew.

17. Pump That Muscle (Mp3 / Ogg) was recorded in 2011 for the Spunjet release ‘The collective Source’. This track has a classical feel with an outsider spirit in your mind. I really enjoy this unusual piece and for for some reason it makes me feel that time is just ticking away.
